Chicago’s resident hip-hop connoisseur Andrew Barber caught up with Lupe yesterday and asked him how he felt about his older, sometimes unflattering songs leaking on the web. He says he’s cool with it, because it saves him the trouble of dropping mixtapes to keep buzz afloat. Lupe added that he knows who’s been leaking songs like “The Birds & The Bees” and “Gangsta” to the masses. I wonder if Prometheus had anything to do with it.
