Mariah Carey performed on ABC’s Good Morning America earlier this morning, and encountered some troubles with her backup track, reports ONTD. Mariah appeared on GMA this morning to promote her new album, E=MC2. During Touch My Body, her backup track started before she did and she adlibbed under it, and then later on in the performance the backup track started again and she yells to her backup singer to stop singing her part… But I didn’t know why her backup singer would have her same exact voice, sing her part just as loud as her? She should have just did a little jig like Ashlee ...

The album E=MC2 tops the charts this week with 463,000 copies sold in the U.S. during its first week in stores and it is expected to be number 1 next week as well. Mimi Proves That The Show Must Go On! [image] So love muffins today Mariah Carey (my Mimi) took over NYC’s Times Square to perform today on Good Morning America and contrary to what other websites have been reporting she did a great job! During her first performance of “Touch My Body” her back-up track (which almost every singer uses during live performances) started too soon and Mimi being the true singer she is, kept right on singing live! That’s right, the show must go on! And then at around the 3 minute mark of the performance, one of the back-up singers starts singing her part causing Mimi to turn to her and sing “Stop singing my paaaarttt…now ...

Ok so by now ya'll know I was there (video coming up) Everyone is saying she was lip-syncing this morning but she was ...I sat through the run threw of each song and it was fabulous ..they simply started playing the song without letting her know it was time to start and THE PEOPLE WORKING IN THE BACK fucked it up! She was very pissed after that and she said "Lets try not to start without me next time". (To the workers or camera) The entire audience was upset because we know what it was when the cameras weren't on! ...
