After much waiting and anticipation, all media outlets streamed live footage from Michael Jackson’s public memorial service at Staple Center in Los Angeles. And everything went off without a hitch, except for the bit of lag time due to audio issues…but overall it was an amazing tribute.
Mariah Carey and Trey Lorenz kicked off the heartfelt memorial with their rendition of Jackson 5’s all time classic “I’ll Be There”. MiMi’s vocals weren’t like they used to be. See HERE. ...

Mariah Carey performed an emotional tribute to the King of Pop yesterday, by singing the Jackson 5 hit, “I’ll Be There”. She was obviously struggling as she looked down upon Michael’s casket, trying to get through the lyrics.
She took to her Twitter yesterday to say, “Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me. I could barely keep myself from crying. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me.”
She adds, “One thing I know is, we will never really have to say goodbye ...
