Max Payne Trailer
Published 7/10/2008 by john@themovieblog.com (John Campea) at The Movie Blog
The first Max Payne trailer has hit the web. I gotta say I’m not impressed so far. Looks more like the deformed step brother of Constantine than the video game I played. Your thoughts?

'Max Payne' Gets a Dark Trailer!
Published 7/10/2008 by Erik Davis at Cinematical
Filed under: Action, Fandom, Games and Game Movies, Trailers and Clips The first trailer for Max Payne has arrived online, and it looks pretty good. Based on the popular video game (of which I've played some), Payne stars Mark Wahlberg as a former NYC detective whose family was murdered. Three years later, he finds himself working undercover for the DEA deep inside the Punchinello crime family. So he's got issues and he's got a pretty important (and dangerous) gig -- something is bound to go wrong. The game ...

I’m not sure how long this will stay online, but a new trailer for 20th Century Fox’s Max Payne has been leaked onto YouTube. It looks like an amazing movie.
The movie adaptation of the popular video game opens in theaters Oct. 17, 2008, and stars Mark Wahlberg, Chris O’Donnell, Beau Bridges, Ludacris, Mila Kunis, and Donal Logue.
Max Payne tells the story of a maverick cop (Wahlberg) determined to track down those responsible for the brutal murder of his family and partner. Doesn’t it seem like Wahlberg gets a lot of these types of roles? ...

Movies Mark Wahlberg Brings Max Payne To Life maxpaynetrailer_main.jpg Since the days of Super Mario Bros. and Double Dragon , film adaptations of video games have almost always blown—cartridges (and cock). But for every financial failure like Doom there’s a Hitman that makes some paper and keeps the trend alive. The trailer for Max Payne , the latest of the live-action video game movies, hit the web today. Based on the 2001 third-person noir shooter from Remedy Entertainment and Rockstar Games, the movie stars Mark Wahlberg as Payne, a maverick NYPD cop who ventures into the criminal underworld and uncovers a conspiracy while trying ...
Movie Preview: Max Payne

[image] The trailer for the video game-turned-movie Max Payne looks dark and spooky, though the story doesn't seem particularly new. According to the plot description, Mark Wahlberg's character, Max Payne, is looking to avenge the deaths of his family members. Mila Kunis costars as an assassin who is also looking to avenge a loved one's death (her sister's). Lots of avenging going on. Ludacris and Chris O'Donnell also star. Additionally, there is a giant bird. The dark thriller hits theaters October 17. To check out the new trailer, read more.

Max Payne & The Funky Bunch

I'm not sure this film really had to be made. Ludacris & Marky Mark! Perhaps we'll be treated to a scene where these two pop rappers indulge in a freestyle session chock full of references about being an "explorer like Dora" & seeing "sweat comin' out your pores". But, halfway through the trailer I started to think it actually looks like it could be ok. No worse than Super Mario Bros. anyway.

Wired Movie Review: Max Payne
Published 10/24/2008 by Chinny Bini Sayz at Allie Is Wired - The Entertainment Blog
I’m an East Coast cat and I love Mark Wahlberg, so I can’t diss this film even if I wanted to. I don’t want to, because I enjoyed it. I’m a photographer at heart and visually, this film is a gem.
I don’t have plausible thumbs, but one of my favorite games to play is Max Payne. Max Payne is about a New York city cop, Mark Wahlberg, who teams up with a Russian assassin, played by Mila Kunis, against the police, the mob and other enemies. Even the toughest critics must admit that the film does the game justice. ...
