John McCain’s spokeswoman Carly Fiorina has chimed in on Tina Fey’s portrayal of vice presidential contender Sarah Palin from this weekend’s Saturday Night Live.
Her verdict? “Disrespectful”, adding Fey was “sexist” and failed to delve into Palin’s substance.
Because, you know, offering in-depth character discussion is SNL’s forte.

An advisor to Republican presidential candidate John McCain blasted a popular Saturday Night Live sketch poking fun at GOP VP hopeful Sarah Palin as “sexist” in an interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Monday.
“The portrait was very dismissive of the substance of Sarah Palin, and so in that sense they were defining Hillary Clinton as very substantive and Sarah Palin as totally superficial,” McCain advisor Carly Fiorina told Andrea. “I think that continues the line of argument that is disrespectful in the extreme, and yes I ...

Yes, the Obama campaign's purported misogyny got Geraldine Ferraro steamed enough to threaten supporting John McCain, but surely that had to be an isolated case of post-menopausal hysteria! (Joke.) But then you unearthed so many disgruntled white Hillary supporters Fox News began to look like a Barnard reunion.* And the Sarah ...
McCain Camp Calls Saturday Night Live Sarah Palin Spoof “Sexist”

John McCain picked a female so he can cry sexism at the hint of any joke or insult. He’s milkin’ Ms. Palin for all her ovaries’ worth. I will leave it at that. I’m trying to avoid political rants but, as a female, Sarah Palin offends me because for many reasons I won’t get into [...] ...
