As if we needed another reason to deem him a giant cocksucker, Joe Jackson pulled the douchbag of all douchbag moves yesterday on the BET Red Carpet (or actually I believe they call it the Black Carpet-- i'm serious). Not to completely digress but did anybody watch this trainwreck of an award show? First off, Jamie Foxx hosted it, won awards, and performed songs off his own album. That definitely violates award show ethics. Second, it looked like a Michael Jackson Halloween costume party. Third, its mandatory to thank God. The Jackson Family is reportedly “horrified” that patriarch Joe Jackson used the death of his late son, singer Michael Jackson, to plug his new record label.
The late singer’s siblings — including Michael’s sister Janet Jackson, who paid tribute to the pop icon at the ceremony — were astonished when the tough talking Joe used Sunday’s BET Awards to promote his new Ranch Records label rather than celebrate Michael’s life.
