It was announced just now that Michael Moore is gonna be releasing a new film, called Slacker Uprising, for free online, using a model similar to the model Radiohead used to release In Rainbows.
Except that Radiohead album wasn't free per se, in the sense that, if you were white and you had an extra $4 lying around, you could send it to Radiohead via PayPal or whatever. Whereas, from what I could gather, there isn't gonna be any money involved with this Michael Moore movie.
