[image] The first trailer for Gus Van Sant’s Harvey Milk biopic has just arrived online, and it looks both stylish and uplifting. The film, entitled simply Milk , follows the trials and tribulations of the man who became the first openly gay politician to be elected into office anywhere, only to be assassinated shortly thereafter. It’s obvious that the story holds some personal value for Van Sant, but from the trailer it looks like he’s done a good job of giving the film a realistic, documentary feel that is respectful without being too contrived.
