Empire breaks the WATCHMAN Trailer - Or Will The Trailer Break You?!?!
Published 7/17/2008 by HEADGEEK at Ain't It Cool News - The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.
... the trailer repeatedly. The crazy fucking thing is... it looks like a WATCHMAN movie. Watching Manhattan move is bliss, the Martian palace forming, Rorschach's mask moving, just... well everything. Zach has really made a WATCHMEN movie. It's very real and so friggin far away. But it is in fact a very real and actual thing. Giddy doesn't cover it. I'm just praying that when I see DARK KNIGHT tonight at the Imax, that we get to see this trailer - cuz if so, I'll need a catheter. WATCHMEN Trailer Here!!!

... so we should do that. Just put a walkie-talkie in his hand!’”
Now, if you look very closely, you’ll notice some funny business going on in the “Watchmen” trailer, as Snyder pokes a bit of fun at one of his filmmaking idols. “[The editors] were like, ‘But then you cut to a real gun!’ but I’m like, ‘No one will ever see that; they’ll think he had a gun in the other shot, so it’s fine.’”
Take a close look, and youll see the two shots at 1:30 in. The first shows a ...

'Watchmen' Teaser Trailer is Slow Motioney, Smashing Pumpkinsey
Published 7/17/2008 at I Watch Stuff - The Best Movie News Ever
I was just reading this interview with Alan Moore--in which he re-affirms his feelings that he hates Hollywood, hates DC, and thinks Watchmen shouldn't be made into a film, particularly by someone who made such a "racist," "homophobic," and "sublimely stupid" film as 300--and it got me thinking that maybe a Watchmen movie really is a bad idea. It was a story meant to be told on the page, and maybe it should remain there. Then Juan sent over the link to the new Watchmen teaser, and I was like, "Holy shit, it's living, ...

Or maybe it's just that the only teasers that seem to captivate our attention any longer feature either vaguely racist chihuahua dance numbers, Brad Pitt aging backwards in Spanish or some permutation of men saving Earth — usually brooding and often in slow-motion. Maybe it's just that we need to get out more. In any case, here you go. Did we mention Billy Corgan whines? Never mind. [Empire] ...
