This Show We Won't See For Two Years Looks Great!
Published 8/27/2008 at Videogum
We refuse to write a whole post about a show that's premiering on Britain's ITV2 this fall, since we have no idea what that even means in American time, but No Heroics (via AICN) looks pretty funny, and when Hollywood rips it off and puts Andy Milonakis in the lead role, Videogum will be there. ...
No Heroics

I caught this trailer online for a new “Britcom” series coming out that kind of reminds me of the live action Tick show combined with Friends and some british accents with a side order of MysteryMen. Just a bunch of superheroes hanging out off duty - at a pub for off duty superheroes.
Tiger Aspect, the same studio that brought us Mr Bean, The Catherine Tate Show (Do I look Bovvered?) BBC’s Robin Hood and Secret Diary of a Call Girl brings us No Heroics this fall.
My fav is Timebomb.
I’m going to stalk this show like that girl who said no to me at prom. ...
Could ‘No Heroics’ Be the Best New Show of the Fall… That You Can’t Watch? [2008 Fall TV Preview]
Published 8/29/2008 by Rob Hunter at Film School Rejects
The Fall 2008 television season is almost upon us, but in all the coverage you’ll be seeing here at FSR and elsewhere one show is conspicuously (and criminally) absent. Imagine if “Heroes” and “Cheers” met in a night club, went back to “The Office,” and had mad, sloppy sex on the copy machine. The result would be “No Heroics”, a new series premiering September 6th on Britain’s ITV2. The show follows four friends and superheroes who spend their off-duty time hanging out at the local hero pub, The Fortress. They drink, curse, bitch, ...

Hilarious New British Series: No Heroics
Published 9/17/2008 by Mike at Pop Critics
Thanks to a tip from Richard, I found this video preview of an upcoming new series debuting in the United Kingdom called No Heroics and my only beef with the show so far is that it’s not airing over here!
The show is set in a world with lots of superheroes, most of which compare themselves to each other based on the amount of media coverage they get. The main focus will be on a group of four superhero friends who hang out at a bar called The Fortress, which is a “no costumes, no powers, no heroics” bar in Soho.
But these heroes aren’t your normal, confident ...
The Office UK’s Patrick Baladi in No Heroics
Published 10/22/2008 by LiRa at Watching The Office
Fans of The Office UK will remember Patrick Baladi as Neal, the guy Ricky Gervais’ character, David Brent, had to compete with when their two branches were merging and the company was only keeping one of them as boss.
The actor is currently starring in another Britcom, No Heroics, which is about modern-day superheroes. It has a similar running theme as the film Mystery Men.
I mention Patrick Baladi because his character in this series reminds me too much of David Brent, only he’s a lot more confident about himself. As Excelsor, he is the most revered of superheroes ...
