Great TV Moment: Barack Obama in Iowa
Published 1/5/2008 by Moviezzz at The Moviezzz Blog
Don't worry, I'm not turning into a political blog. I will refrain from political commentary. But I don't care if you are a Republican or Democrat, last night's speech by Barack Obama was one of the best, most inspiring political speeches I have seen. In case you missed it, here it is again. Even all the commentators were blown away by it.

Steve Clemons: The Clinton-Obama Race on Race
Published 1/13/2008 by Steve Clemons at Huffington Post Entertainment Blog
People from all walks of American life pay respects to the unassuming civil rights leader Rosa Parks in the US Capitol rotunda. I'm not well positioned or exceedingly informed on the subject to comment much on the strange battle brewing between the Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama camps on race. In his comments on George Stephanopoulos' This Week this morning, Senator John Kerry in his broad endorsement of Barack Obama slipped in a line that seemed incongruent with other parts of his statement. Kerry said something along the lines that when President Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil ...

Words by Matthew Mundy Video courtesy of the good folks @ 247hh.com At this point it’s almost cliché for Hip-Hop artists to come out and support Obama. Of course they will, right? He’s the first presidential candidate that actually listens to Hip-Hop, he brushed Hillary Clinton’s dirt off his shoulders at a campaign event, he’s the most progressive mainstream presidential candidate we’ve ever seen, and he’s black. Plus, and let’s just admit it here – Obama’s the coolest motherfucker to ever run for president. Hip-Hop’s attachment to him ...

Published 27 days ago by Wendy at The Gryffindor Gazette
Even though Daniel Radcliffe is not an American citizen, he still wanted to be part of the electoral process, so he tagged along with an American friend to experience it (one of his co-stars from Equus). And here’s what he had to say about our new president, Barack Obama: ...

Barack Obama Wins Iowa With a Message of Hope

With the votes almost all counted, and the speeches given and the Democratic field winnowed (Joe Biden and Chris Dodd have already dropped out as has Mike Gravel) it is a huge night not just for Barack Obama, but for America. As Obama said in his fantastic victory speech, tonight was a night about hope and a vision for the future. A vision for a united America. One that Obama can bring ...

A Children's Treasury of Overblown Huffington Posts About Obama's Victory [Liberal Circle Jerk]
Apparently the Huffington Post bloggers saw a totally different Barack Obama speech last night — you know, one that wasn’t just some rich good-looking lawyer repeating the empty word “hope” like Rudy saying “9/11.” Here’s a sampling of the inspirational, pompous nonsense that is our substitute for actual insight in this goddamned country: Obama ...
Next President and First Lady of the United States? Discuss
The Chicago Tribune is calling Barack Obama’s victory in the Iowa caucus “historic and convincing.” Watching him standing and waving at his rapturous audience, alongside his beautiful wife (and former Afrobella of the Week) , I gotta tell you its moving. And inspiring. I’m watching his speech live right now, and he just begun his speech by saying, “Thank you ...
