Music: Music blog | guardian.co.uk —
He might rip politicians to shreds, but we're not sure Paxman knows how to deal with Dizzee Rascal's "rather positive" vibes.
Dizzee Rascal - Hip-Hop Won it for Obama
Network News Mashup | Rawkus.com —
We were going to do a post full of presidential puns - ‘Paragraph President’, ‘Arrest the President’ and so forth - but Dizzee Rascal summed up it best for us on Newsnight.
Paul Moody: Jeremy Paxman should have shown Dizzee Rascal more respect
Television & radio: TV and radio blog | guardian.co.uk —
Been away. Did I miss anything? Only joking. Yesterday's election news is clearly the best thing to happen since Andrew Sachs checked his answering machine . However, this paradigm shift in global consciousness appears to have done little to raise the spirits of Jeremy Paxman. If his election night grouchiness was bizarre, jarring horribly with the positivity oozing from disbelieving Democrats as the results rolled in, his treatment of Dizzee Rascal on yesterday's Newsnight beggared belief. Estelle Slams Paxman For Dizzee Affront
The Quietus | All Articles —
estelle Estelle has laid into Newsnight presenter Jeremy Paxman for treating Dizzee Rascal like an "idiot" on the November 5th edition of the show. The 'American Boy' singer condemned Paxman's shoddy treatment of Rascal - real name Dylan Mills - during a video interview in connection with the US presidential elections. Paxman's quizzing of the London grime artist about whether he felt himself to be British and if he would ever consider entering politics landed hims in hot water with critics who felt he was being condescending after the programme aired last month. Now Estelle has weighed into the debate, telling The New Statesman : "I was like, 'He is taking you ...
