Holy Cow! Is Oliver Stone Back In Fighting Shape? The W Teaser Trailer Leaked...
Published 7/27/2008 by TheRealMoriarty at Ain't It Cool News - The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.
Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here. ... and it looks great! I love Oliver Stone when he’s working at peak form, but bad oliver Stone is almost too painful to contemplate. I had no idea what to expect from W., and until this teaser trailer, I wasn’t excited. I am now. Can’t wait to see more. Watch this one quick because it might be gone soon. In the meantime, though, thanks to whoever leaked it... my interest just spiked on this one: It's not officially suppose to premiere until Monday night on Access Hollywood, but someone has already leaked it to Youtube. Click Here! View it why you still can. Turned out ...

Oliver Stone's 'W.' Teaser Trailer Leaked Online
Published 7/27/2008 at RopeofSilicon.com
Get a load of the teaser trailer for Oliver Stone's George W. Bush biopic, W. as it has just leaked online over at YouTube in rather clear quality for the bootleg site. After watching it, I can tell you they are holding back the primary tone of the film by not presenting a single Bush-ism, you know, the statements Bush has made his entire time as President that have made him a laughing stock. A lot of that is in the script and none of it is here. However, this does present the film as a rather gloomy look at our current Commander in Chief. Click here to give it a peek for yourself.
Oliver Stone’s W. Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for Oliver Stone’s W. is now online. It basically focuses on Bush’s partying antics. The juxtaposition of “It’s a Wonderful World” over the Bush presidency gives you a good idea of the humorous spin that Stone is taking on this story. Tell me what you think in the comments below. ...

Oliver Stone’s ‘W’ Trailer
Published 7/28/2008 by Charles at WeAreMovieGeeks.com
The footage in this trailer shows how out of control our current President was and asks the question… “how could a guy like that get into the White House?” Stone promised that the movie will not be biased. Clearly that’s not completely true.
Plot: Whether you love him or hate him, there is no question that George W. Bush is one of the most controversial public figures in recent memory. In an unprecedented undertaking, acclaimed director Oliver Stone is bringing the life of our 43rd President to the big screen as only he can. “W” takes viewers through ...
W. trailer online
Published 7/28/2008 at Filmstalker
JoshBrolinBush.jpg A teaser trailer for the upcoming and much anticipated film about George W. Bush is online, and it does give us a few hints of what to expect from the Oliver Stone film. Already the film is playing like President Origins: Bush rather than looking at his Presidential life, although I'm sure that will play a large part of story too, but the early life of Bush is perhaps what will make for the most interesting viewing. After all we can discover what drove the man to do what he has and to make the decisions he has made, and to take America where it is today. Saying that, no wonder that closing shot has him looking so ...
Oliver Stone’s W Trailer is Beer-Filled, Confusing in Nature [First Look]
Published 7/28/2008 by Neil Miller at Film School Rejects
The first trailer for Oliver Stone’s upcoming film W. has hit the web earlier this evening. And at first glance, I have absolutely no idea what to make of this film. As we’ve discussed before, Josh Brolin doesn’t look too bad as the current President in his younger years, but I am still not gathering the tone. Is it supposed to be a dramatic, faithful take on the subject? Not sure. How about a parody? Not quite.
I don’t know — maybe all of you can figure it out when you check out the trailer below. ...

"Who do you think you are? A Kennedy? You're a Bush. Act like one." If I hadn't known this teaser was for Oliver Stone's W. ahead of time, I don't think I would've realized the movie was even about our current Commander-in-Chief until he gets dressed down with this line by his father -- played by ...
W Trailer…You Know, the President, Right?
Published 7/28/2008 by Kirsten Anderson at At The Movies - Film News and Reviews
This is already on my strange movies list.
Perhaps with all the primary and election buzz of the last year, you’ve almost forgotten that George W. Bush is still president. The announcement and subsequent filming of Oliver Stone’s biopic of Bush didn’t do anything to dispell the illusion that he’s been out of office for a while. But no, he is still president, which is why the whole movie is kind of weird. Do we want to watch the life of a sitting president on the big screen? Well, The Queen turned out pretty well. But then again, there weren’t any scenes of Elizabeth playing beer pong ...

Oliver Stone’s W Trailer Starring Josh Brolin as George W. Bush
Published 7/28/2008 by Sean at Film Junk
The more I see about Oliver Stone’s upcoming George W. Bush biopic (entitled simply W ), the more I cannot wait for it to be released. This looks like such a strange and surreal movie, and one that takes a lot of guts to direct. The first trailer for W has now arrived online, and it has only added to my curiosity. The short video gives us a hint of Bush’s wild college years, and his father’s disapproval, before cycling through the full cast of characters. Brolin seems like a great choice to play George W., but I still can’t figure out if it’s going to be funny or serious… or both. One thing’s for sure, everyone’s going to have an opinion on it, and the ...
Trailering: "W."'s wonderful world.
Published 7/28/2008 by Alison Willmore at IFC: Indie Eye
Dailymotion has a teaser trailer for Oliver Stone's "W." here. I... have no words. Other than that I find myself suddenly and unexpectedly looking forward to the film -- October 17th is the release date.
From everything I've heard about "Sukiyaki Western Django," designating it "Takashi Miike's English language masterpiece," per its new trailer, is a bit of an overstatement. There's no doubt that the film is directed by the prolific Miike, and it is, sort of, in English, though the mainly Japanese cast speaks it phonetically in ways that will likely require subtitles for the sake of comprehension. ...
