The Playlist recaps highlights from Diddy’s (is that his name now?) video review of Hancock: “‘As a black kid you’re like, ‘well, why ain’ there no super heros that look like me?’ Why aint’ there a black super hero?’ They got Wonder Woman, Underdog…[pauses, thinks about the absurdity of this for a minute and then catches up] They even have a dog super hero, they got no black super hero! (aside). That’s my white boy answering the phone.’” “[C]ertainly a lot of the greatest directors (and artists, musicians, ...

//Video Blog Goodness: Diddy Talks About Hancock//

The world knew we’d be in trouble when this man figured out how to use a webcam. Diddy is back at it again. In his latest video, he ponders the reason why there were no black super heroes when he was growing up and raves about the new Will Smith movie Hancock. The language is NSFW so turn your speakers down. Hancock, b!tch!

P DIDDY LOVES COCK. ER, HANCOCK.
Published 7/3/2008 at FilmDrunk.com
In his latest “Diddy blog”, P. Diddy explains why he’s so excited for Hancock.  He says that, growing up, he always wondered why there were no black superheroes.  Then he goes on and on about how FINALLY, there’s a black superhero.  Aside from the fact that he’s not very funny or interesting or have anything to say remotely worth recording, the sound of him chewing his gum into the microphone makes me want to gouge his eyes out with a crab fork. Oh, and hey, Dingleberry, where the hell were you when Pluto Nash came out?  How ...

DIDDY CO-SIGNS HANCOCK
Published 7/7/2008 by LexAve at STRAIGHT OUTTA NYC
“Fuck Batman, Superman, Robin with his bitch ass… Hancock, bitches. Hancock.” Diddy just can’t stop video blogging. On the real, somebody needs to keep this man away from the digital cam and laptop. Here he is yet again boasting about Will Smith’s new blockbuster flick Hancock , which earned $107.3 million since opening last Tuesday. After the seeing Hancock this weekend, all I’m saying is don’t believe the hype . Hot concept but the movie overall was straight corny and can’t be compared to other super hero movies out now (i.e. The Hulk or Iron Man ).

P. Diddy Urges Calm and Prayer as 'Bitchass' Levels Reach Record High [The More You Know]
Published 7/14/2008 by STV at Defamer
The revelations unfolding this summer over at Diddy Blog — your home for crystalline cultural commentary by P. Diddy himself — have enlightened us on subjects ranging from Barack Obama to black superheroism to Lil' Wayne's bulletproof success tips. But we aren't sure how Diddy will surpass the insight of his most recent entry, in which the mogul clues viewers in to an unforeseen crisis devastating everything in its path. We also can't determine to what degree we ourselves are responsible for the "bitchassness" and other Internet hating cited herein, but last we checked, our non-ashy lips and robust weed supply suggest Defamer is ...

Diddy's Swagger
Published 9/18/2008 at Radar: Fresh Intelligence Blog
Sean "Diddy" Combs has been entertaining the Internet for what seems like forever with his series of video blogs happening over at the creatively-titled "Diddy Blog." The third highest-earning figure in hip-hop has touched on topical issues like Sarah Palin's appointment as John McCain's running mate , rising gas prices , and the lack of African-American representation in this summer's superhero movies . But with his most recent installment (part one featured above, part two below), Diddy the musician performs his own rendition of the popular rap song "S.L.U. (Swagger Like Us)," the also creatively-titled "Swagger Like Puff." The ...
