Paula Deen was helping give out turkeys and hams for a hunger charity over the weekend when someone tossed a ham up towards her and hit her smack in the nose.
Paula was ok and was able to find humor in the incident later telling CBS reporters that the area around her nose was a bit sore:
“I just got hit with a hog so what do I expect,” Paula said laughing. “Ran head on to a hog. I think it might have hit maybe just right where, I thought it busted my lip, but it didn’t.”

Paula Deen was try to feed the hungry for Thanksgiving in Atlanta community over the weekend when someone threw a ham that hit Deen square in the face. Afterwards Deen said:
“I just got hit with a hog so what do I expect,” said Deen through nervous laughter. “Ran head on to a hog. I think it might have hit maybe just right where, I thought it busted my lip, but it didn’t.”
Thankfully Deen is okay.

This is no joke, apparently yesterday Paula Deen decided to help out the hungry and was tossing hams inside with a line of people helping. They’d toss the ham to each other, well I guess every year she makes someone go for a long one (football jargon) and tosses the ham at them. This year it seems it was a new person and they decided to toss it back, only she didn’t know until it came flying at her and hit her in the face. OUCH!
She was okay though, while it did bust her lip and made her nose sore she wasn’t broken anywhere. She was even making jokes about the event and took it as far as her own twitter ...
