Unofficial QUANTUM OF SOLACE Theme Song Leaks!
Published 8/7/2008 by mrbeaks at Ain't It Cool News - The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.
Beaks here... I just endured the very worst movie of 2008 (if I'm lucky). How to make the pain go away? Let's give a listen to Joe Cornish's highly unsolicited QUANTUM OF SOLACE theme song. There have been a lot of unfunny viral marketing parodies going around. This is not one of them. I'm generally pleased with the direction of the Bond franchise, but a part of me misses hover-gondolas, too.
Quantum of Solace: this should have been the new Bond song
Published 8/7/2008 by Ben Child at Guardian Unlimited: Arts blog - film
Around about the tale end of last year, when it was announced that the new Bond film was to receive the dubious title Quantum of Solace , there was much pity at Guardian towers for whoever ended up having to write the theme song. Apart from anything else, we mused, there are very few words in the English language which actually rhyme with solace. Since then a number of musicians have been tapped to step into the shoes of past-masters such as Paul McCartney and that bloke who used to be in Soundgarden . Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse had a crack, but victory finally went to the unlikely pairing of Jack White and Alicia Keys , who will ...
FUN STUFF: QUANTUM OF SOLACE theme tune (kind of)
Published 8/7/2008 by noreply@blogger.com (Original Sharp) at Original Sharp Says...
It was recently reported that due to Amy Winehouse's drug-induced antics, she wouldn't be singing the theme tune for upcoming James Bond flick the QUANTUM OF SOLACE. Instead we were told we'd be treated to the dulcet tones of Jack White and Alicia Keys. Well, little did we all know that the perfect Bond-singer actually resides in Britain, and goes by the name of JOE CORNISH, half of the double act Adam 'n' Joe. But if it's dulcet tones you're after, then I wouldn't bother listening, because the David Bowie-esque singer doesn't half grate on the ears! Either way, check out the hilarious music ...

Published 8/7/2008 by Erik Davis at Cinematical
Filed under: Comedy, Fandom, James Bond, Trailers and Clips So we already know that White Stripes' frontman Jack White and Alicia Keys are all set to record the latest Bond song, titled Another Way to Die, but what about those folks who missed the cut. Ya know, the songs that almost were ... or tried to be ... or pretended to care? Case in point: You simply have to check out Joe Cornish's proposed version of the Quantum of Solace theme song up above because it's just ... fabulous. Seriously, not only does he work in a number of ...
Quantum of Solace Theme Song Leaks Online… Kind Of [Humor]
Published 30 days ago by Rob Hunter at Film School Rejects
The world was thrilled to learn recently that the theme song for the upcoming Bond film, Quantum of Solace, would be a collaboration between Alicia Keys and Jack White. The excitement was due in part to the quality of talent lined up for the song, but also in appreciation of the class and allure Keys will be restoring to the franchise’s troubled theme song history. The damage done by Madonna, Garbage, and Sheryl Crow will hopefully be forgotten with Keys’ rendition as she represents a return to the sexy and sultry stylings of songbirds past like Carly Simon, Shirley Bassey, and Simon Le Bon. ...

THE SONTUM OF QUALACE
Published 30 days ago at FilmDrunk.com
Some delightfully droll Brits recently released this alternate theme song for Quantum of Solace, the new Bond film. Should this effort below by Joe Cornish, the other half of Adam 'n', have been given due consideration? At least it gets the title into the song. 'Another Way To Die', indeed. [Empire] "Adam 'n'"? Adam 'n' what? Goddamned British people, always screwing up their own language. And baked beans for breakfast? Seriously, man, what the fuck. Anyway, I liked it when he made fun of the ...

Far be it from me not to take advantage of any opportunity to post a picture of Daniel Craig in his baby blues, but this video bares special attention. British comedian Joe Cornish offers up his version of the ultimate James Bond theme song for Quantum of Solace. And any song that gives us the following opening lyric has brilliance written all over it: "He's got a gun and great big man tits / He's got jug ears and tiny trunks ... " Throw in a very a-ha/"The Living Daylights" groove, and I say we have a hit on our hands. Alicia who? ...

Published 16 days ago by Ian Dransfield at Hecklerspray
Harry Potter has a lot to answer for - now he’s magically caused Quantum of Solace to be pushed back.
Not content with ruining the dreams and emotions of a billion little kids and a lot of adults who probably should know better, Daniel Radcliffe and company’s decision to move the new Harry Potter film to next summer has prompted Sony to push the upcoming James Bond flick - the one with the funny name - back.
Alright, so it’s only a week, with the film being pushed from November 7th to the 14th, but still - come on. Give us a break here.
The reason for the move ...
