Video: Radiohead: "Tell Me Why" (Neil Young cover; live at the Hollywood Bowl)

Last night at L.A.'s legendary Hollywood Bowl, Radiohead performed an acoustic cover of Neil Young's "Tell Me Why", the heartstring-tugging opener from After the Gold Rush. A couple of poor quality YouTubes were posted around a bit earlier today, but Gorilla vs. Bear has the winner here, a nice clear clip on Vimeo that puts you right in front of the band. The tune is in Thom Yorke's natural range and he pretty much nails it.

While on tour, playing in Auburn, WA, Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood moved close to each other and started playing a “Faust Arp” duet, like they always do shows, however… this time Thom forget the lyrics. Anyway, after a series of jokes and ramblings around the matter, to escape this somewhat embarrassing moment, the band went on and played a beautiful cover of Neil Young’s “Tell Me Why.” Check out the video bellow as well as the MP3 version. When one of the greatest bands on the planet comes to your town, you do what you can to see them perform. When they come in town for two days? Well, then you bite the bullet and shell out the cash to go twice.
It may not be such a cut-and-dry decision for everyone, but if you've had the pleasure of seeing Radiohead in person before then the choice
