Well, until the official one hits on the 21st this is what you get as a blurry bootlegged version of the Star Trek teaser has arrived. Once the official version is online I will write a new article and update this one.

The teaser trailer for the new Star Trek movie leaked. It's playing before Cloverfield. It's just a teaser, so nothing to burst your nerd wad over. I screwed a few Trekkies over the years, so I consider myself an official one. If you have had at least 5 Trekkie dicks in you that means you are official. It's in the rulebook. Check! Hey folks, Harry here... Behold the nice, atmospheric, understated - but at the same time - grand in scope and vision... the construction of the Enterprise teaser trailer for the relaunch of STAR TREK. No matter what you think of the Enterprise being made on Earth... you can not deny that it looks cool. I suppose the Enterprise could take off from Earth at impulse power - but a ship can't achieve warp in an atmosphere (at least that's what we've been told, right?) Here's the teaser...

Paramount announced that it was postponing Star Trek from this Christmas to May 8, 2009 according to Variety. I personally think that is such a huge mistake because there is so much buzz with this movie that I am not sure it can sustain for another 4 months of waiting. Hopefully they know what they are doing because I am really excited for this movie.
