Sarah Palin is alleged to have been a member of the Alaska Independence Party (AIP) at one time, which she and the McCain campaign deny. The AIP has tried to put on the ballet a measure for Alaska to secede from the United States, and become it’s own country, but they have never obtained enough signatures to put the measure on a ballet to be voted on by citizens. This isn’t the first group of people in the U.S. to have issues with the way the federal government handles things.

Clark was born in Illinois, moving with her family as a child to the Alaska ...

Words can not begin to describe my heartache. Followed by the heartache, however, was an unexpectedly hopeful realization. When I became aware that someone invented these characters, I realized that I could also invent my ...

Naturally, the crowd was warm to the man who should have been the nation’s 43rd President, especially his campaign manager’s hometown, where he received 73% of the popular vote, contributing well to his national victory. (No, I haven’t gotten over the 2000 election. Have you?) A few people heckled him, yelling “Liar, Liar!”; out front, PETA had its own protest, arguing that Gore doesn’t go far ...
