Yep, Tina Fey Stole Another Episode of ‘SNL’
Vulture —
As should obviously have been expected, Tina Fey dropped by this weekend to brilliantly open another episode of Saturday Night Live as Sarah Palin. And since everyone saw this coming and wondered how Fey would possibly find humor in Palin's performance at last week's V.P. debate, enough people tuned in to make Saturday's SNL the highest-rated one since last month's season premiere, which was the most-watched episode in six years (in fairness, host Anne Hathaway was also surprisingly good, as was Andy Samberg's awesome "Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals" sketch). In fact, the numbers for this season are up almost 50 percent over last ...

Then I'm going to tell him, 'Say hi to your mother for me.'" But according to his brother Jim — whom we met at Wednesday's GQ fund-raiser for the Gentlemen's Fund, for which Wahlberg is ...
Sarah Palin Takes a Joke on 'Saturday Night Live'
Zap2it.com - Zap 2 News & Buzz —
Sarahpalin_240 The goal when any politician appears on Saturday Night Live is to show that he or she can take a joke. So consider it mission accomplished for Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin last night. The Republican candidate for vice president, who appeared in the show's cold open and later in the "Weekend Update" segment, wasn't called on to do much more than keep a straight face while comedy went on around her. Palin lookalike Tina Fey once again played the governor in a mock press conference that opened the show, while the real Palin and Lorne Michaels stood backstage and watched on a monitor. Michaels lamented that Palin didn't do the opening sketch ...
