At Long Last, Meet J.J. Abrams' Klingons [Star Trek]
io9 — Feeling cheated that you didn't get to see a Klingon prison break in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek movie? As we promised, those lost Klingon scenes will be on the new DVD, but a few snippets have already turned up online. Spike TV has an official clip from the new trailer (which is available in much higher resolution over at Spike's site): But it turns out there's less to the Klingons than meet the eye in some scenes. According to this snippet of making-of footage which turned up online recently, some of the Klingons were actually little kids in Klingon costumes, shot ...

Star Trek Deleted Scene Online!
Atomic Popcorn — People who don’t know much about me probably wouldn’t guess that I’m a huge Star Trek fan. But the facade of being normal cracks at the seams, once you start noticing Trek-themed coasters sitting around my apartment. Rest assured, J.J. Abrams’ reboot of Star Trek was, in my opinion, the bee’s knees, only outdone this year by a few films including the majestic Inglourious Basterds. It set the stage perfectly for a series that I hope maintains the quality of the first outing. One thing that did manage to peak my curiousity, though, was word of a deleted scene ...

Nero vs. Klingons In This Star Trek Deleted Scene
Screen Rant — To help build excitement for the upcoming release of Star Trek on DVD and Blu-ray, Paramount has released a deleted scene that will be a bonus feature on the home video release of the franchise’s rebirth installment. This scene is part of the story where Nero (Eric Bana) is held captive by Klingons and interrogated about his knowledge of the future and of the Federation. You’ll definitely recognize one line from the trailer where Nero states “The wait is over” which wasn’t a part of the theatrical release of the film. For Trek fans out there, ...

Star Trek -- the deleted Klingon scene!
FilmChat — Bits of this scene were included in the trailers for last summer's Star Trek reboot, but the scene itself was ultimately cut from the film. Star Trek comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray November 17. ...

Star Trek (2009) Deleted Scene: Klingons Interrogate Nero
Film-Book dot Com — Star Trek (2009) Deleted Scene: Klingons Interrogate Nero is pretty badass. J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek (2009) had some big plot holes and this Star Trek (2009) Nero interrogated by Klingons deleted scene plugs a very small one, though I hear the comic book does it better. The small hole I ...

Star Trek Deleted Scene Gives us Klingons
The 8th Circuit — One of the cooler things from Spike's Scream Awards last night was the premiere of this deleted scene from Abram's Star Trek reboot. While the film was great, a lot of fans complained about the absence of Star Trek 's quintessential alien race, the Klingons. Well, apparently they weren't left out at all. In this scene, explaining what Nero was up to in those "missing years", Klingon interrogators use Centurion slugs (also featured later in the film) to try to coax some information out of him. Check out one of the deleted scenes from the "prison break" sequence below:

JJ ABRAMS REFUSES TO COMMIT TO A KLINGON LOOK IN THIS STAR TREK DELETED SCENE
CHUD.com - A Movie Website and SO MUCH MORE. - Articles - News — There's a big gaping, bleeding hole in the middle of the reboot of Star Trek and it's the question of what the heck Nero was up to for the 20 years between his killing of Kirk's dad and his destruction of Vulcan. Originally Nero and his crew, trapped in a ship crippled by George Kirk, were captured by Klingons (you get a hint of this in the actual film when a Klingon fleet is destroyed and Uhura picks up the transmissions). Now the DVD/Blu-Ray will shed some light on this excised subplot in the form of deleted scenes... or at least I hope they're deleted scenes and not edited back into the movie. Of interest here is the fact that JJ Abrams ...

Watch Star Trek's Nero Fight Klingons! Deleted Scene Revealed
Cinema Blend News — Watch Star Trek's Nero Fight Klingons! Deleted Scene Revealed Star Trek was great, but if the movie had any flaws they can all pretty much be traced back to a single source: The movie needed more Nero. Eric Bana’s villain never really got the kind of character development he deserved, or at least not in the version of the movie we saw. It seems a significant portion of the character’s screen time was cut, including a scene in which he kicks the ass of a bunch of Klingons. That’s right, Star Trek was supposed to have Klingons! That scene, along with many others will show up on the impending Star Trek DVD, but why wait? Nero’s deleted Klingon ...

Star Trek Klingon deleted scene
Filmstalker — StarTrek_Poster.jpg There were no Klingons on the Star Trek (Filmstalker review) reboot, which wasn't a real problem to be honest, the real problem was a huge gaping hole in the characters, particularly of the bad guy and of the background to his character, his motivation and history being regulated to a fifteen second speech and a photo before raging onwards. I felt that weakened the character and we didn't feel his drive or the real desire there. He was the standard one dimensional bad guy, plant a sign on his head and send him off to fight. However there was talk of a plot line involving Klingons and how he waited out being captured and ...

More "Chuck"? Yes, please!
Reel Fanatic — You know, my hopes have already been raised and dashed by that dastardly rumor that "Chuck" would come back as soon as the end of October (which is, of course, just about here, with no "Chuck"), but I'm certain this time that this just-as-good information is satisfactual. ...

"Star Trek" New Klingons Revealed
Dark Horizons - News — "Star Trek" is approaching its DVD/Blu-ray release in the US on November 17th but is already out in stores here in Australia. Going through the much anticipated fifteen minutes of deleted scenes, all the cuts consisted of three subplots - more Sarek/Amanda backstory, Kirk hooking up with the Orion girl in order to hack the Kobiyashi Maru simulation, and the one many have been waiting for - the Klingons capture of Nero's crew. Filling in the big gaping plot hole of what Nero's crew got up to in the 25 years between the USS Kellvin attack and elder Spock's arrival, the two scenes feature the ship being captured by a Klingon fleet, and ...

Star Trek Deleted Scene Online
The Movie Blog — As we anticipate the DVD and BluRay release of Star Trek next month, Spike TV snuck out one of the deleted scenes. RamaScreen describes: below is a deleted scene, via Spike, from the movie showing us a masked ruffle-headed Klingon interrogating Nero played by Eric Bana, trying to get information from him about the future. Nero fights back, lets his right hand man go and says ‘The wait is over’ the line said in the trailer but was missing from the theatrical cut. I really wish this was in the film, as I found Nero a little ...

DOR SHO GAH, KLINGON DOMINATRIX PORN!
FilmDrunk: Movie news you can make fun of — This is a just-released deleted scene from Star Trek.  I loved the movie, but this highlights the one aspect I hated — shaky-cam, quick-cut action sequences that give you no sense of the spatial awareness of a scene, just the cliff’s notes cause and effect.  Anyway, I’ll let /Film describe the context because that’s easiest for me. JJ Abrams shot a sequence for the Star Trek reboot featuring a few members of the infamous alien race, the Klingons. The scene featured Nero [Eric Bana] chained to a table being interrogated ...

‘Star Trek’ Deleted Interrogation Scene (Video)
Backseat Cuddler — trekbluray Here’s a scene that was deleted from the theatrical version of the film Star Trek . This scene as well as others will be on the DVD and Blu-ray release of the the film which is coming on November 17th, 2009. I see why the scene was deleted, not that it’s bad, but it just doesn’t feel like it fits with the rest of the film quite as well. It feels a little too campy.
