The Apples In Stereo appeared (in video) on the Colbert Report last night (for the second time) to play Can You Feel It? from New Magnetic Wonder. The band s first appearance on the show was to play Stephen Stephen for Colbert s showdown with the Decemberists back in early 07. The Apples were apparently on Colbert to promote the release of the Japanese picture disc single of Stephen Stephen, but I m thinking they were called in because Ari Fleischer wasn t available.
