I’ve been anxiously awaiting our first look at Tom Tykwer’s new movie The International for a while now, and a trailer has finally arrived online. Tykwer is the man who brought us the groundbreaking Run Lola Run , Heaven and more recently Perfume: The Story of a Murderer , which received mixed reviews. The International definitely looks like his most accessible movie to date; it stars Clive Owen as an Interpol agent who is investigating a possible conspiracy involving the world’s largest bank. The International Trailer has hit the web. I’ve got to admit, as cliche as this new Clive Owen flick looks, I find myself kinda digging the trailer. Not 100% sure why, but I’m looking forward to this. Not the best trailer in the world, but it did catch my attention.

German director Tom Tykwer’s newest film, ‘The International’, is a conspiracy thriller [slash] bank heist (sort of?) type of genre film that looks very entertaining, despite it’s formulaic tendencies.
