'The Spirit': Is the new trailer better, or merely 'Sin City 2'? For a dude who makes 1/10 of his living writing about trailers and the other 9/10 with my head steeping in all things geek, I'm at a bit of a loss for words about this, the full trailer for The Spirit . One the one hand, there's no denying that it looks like Sin City 1.5, with the same monochromatic scheme and overheated noir dialogue that just doesn't sound good when spoken aloud ("Is every damn woman in this damn hellhole out of her damn mind?") and that, for an adaptation of what was, at times, a gritty look at urban crime, The Spirit seems like a glossy look at "urban" ...
