That Willa Ford-led Anna Nicole biopic that seemed like a moderately big deal a few months after her death (Variety article, you know?) leaked on the Internet last week to no absolutely no fanfare (it doesn't have so much as a Rotten Tomatoes page). Why am I surprised that nobody cares? A zero-budget anything that attempts to distill Anna Nicole Smith's nonsense is a breeding ground for campy crapiness. The torrent I, uh, saw wasn't labeled DVDRip or DVDSCR, which leads me to believe that no official release by way of DVD is even in the pipeline. Rich at FourFour has made an amazing discovery. A little over a year ago, a Variety story announced that pop star Willa Ford had been cast in a biopic about Anna Nicole Smith. According to IMDb, Anna Nicole was completed in 2007, but as Rich points out, it apparently never even received so much as a DVD release. I now officially have a big fat e-crush on FourFour , who has taken the mind-bogglingly, cosmically, stupendously bad Anna Nicole Smith biopic (which has been shunted unceremoniously onto the internet with no release date in sight) and distilled it down to seven minutes and thirty seconds of sheer awesome. It's like the love child of "Gia" and an after-school special, tarted up in spray tanner and pink lipstick. Truly the perfect send-off for Miss Anna Nicole.

So it looks like Anna Nicole , the movie about our late, large-breasted embodiment of the American dream, might not get the theatrical release its producers were hoping for. However, the movie was leaked online and we got a chance to view it. It's kind of perfect in its stupidity, shoestring budget, and bawdy tone because while it's factually inaccurate (unintentionally, it would seem) you just know that a pilled-up Anna wouldn't be able to get the facts straight on her own life.
