RacsO Ledger — This is quite possibly Darren Aronofsky's best work since "Requiem for a Dream". No offense to "The Fountain", I loved that film too but I think Wrestler is a par Requiem. What made this movie all the more memorable is the fact that it was superbly acted. Mickey Rourke in a rousing comeback to form (he did an almost comeback with Sin City) gave one of the best lead performances of the year. Marissa Tomei was expected-ly great as the prostitute with a heart of gold. And lastly Evan Rachel Wood as the daughter who longs for fatherly love.
