The basic DNA of every bullshit CG fantasy action-mythology epic of the last 25 years is contained in this mock-trailer for Thundercats , and will be repeated again and again as long as bullshit CG fantasy action-mythology epics continue to be made. Brilliant career moves by Brad Pitt, Vin Diesel and Hugh Jackman , but who's the actress under the makeup -- Scarlett Johansson ? I've only watched it once. (Congrats to WormyT, thanks to Jack Morrissey .) The Wormy T guys are saying all the effects were done frame-by-frame in Photoshop, and that the footage was edited in Adobe Premiere.

Someone give this cat a job: WormyT spent what must’ve been thousands of hours painstakingly animating the live-action fan-made Thundercats trailer you can watch above. If Warner Bros. spent half that time developing a decent adaptation of the hit ’80s cartoon, we’d probably have a real trailer by now - but there’s no guaranteeing it would look this good. Over on YouTube someone created an entire two and a half minute trailer for a Thundercats movie and made it seem as though it will star Brad Pitt, Vin Diesel, Hugh Jackman, and others. They created all the effects frame by frame in Photoshop, then stuck it all together in Adobe Premiere. Think about how much effort that must have been! I took Film class years ago, it takes a lot of work to create 2.5 minutes of footage!
