Trailer for The Mutant Chronicles The first trailer for The Mutant Chronicles is finally online. Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, Devon Aoki, Benno Furmann, Sean Pertwee, John Malkovich, Anna Walton and Luis Miguel star in the Simon Hunter directed flick, which takes place in the 23rd century and follows soldier Major Mitch Hunter (Jane) as he leads a fight against an army of underworld NecroMutants. Unfortunately the flick still doesn’t have a release date, but will screen for the first time at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Check out the trailer below.

We stay pretty informed about upcoming movies around here since we’re usually writing about them from even the earliest stages of development. I have to admit, though, that I was caught kind of off guard with The Mutant Chronicles. The truth is I hadn’t heard much about it and hadn’t really bothered to look in to it at all. I think the title kind of threw me off.
