Pictures have unveiled an interesting trailer of 'Tropic Thunder' mocumentary entitled 'Rain of Madness' Apparently, people behind " Tropic Thunder " have found a new way to promote their latest comedy movie. In the latest promotional effort for the upcoming Ben Stiller 's movie, DreamWorks/Paramount let out a trailer for the movie's mockumentary called "Rain of Madness". [image] Source: /Film /Film reported on a new international trailer for “Tropic Thunder.” Also, earlier today, they reported on a mockumentary of the making of “Tropic Thunder” called “Rain of Madness,” and yes, it very much is in the vein of “Hearts of Darkness.” I don’t know if this is real or not, but this trailer looks awesome. Hopefully, it will be an extra on the DVD or a separate film itself. On the left is the poster for “Rain of Madness.”

This new bit of internet marketing for the forthcoming Tropic Thunder claims to be a trailer for a fake documentary about the making of the fictional movie that Tropic Thunder is also about the making of. Wait, what? On the one hand, I love the piling on of ridiculously self-referential layers, but on the other hand, isn’t this a bit confusing?
