BOONDOCK SAINTS SEQUEL

Thanks to Peter over at /Film, I’ve got the hot tip on the supposed Boondock Saints sequel. Saints writer/director Troy Duffy left the above message on YouTube yesterday, announcing that Sony has greenlit a sequel, which will include the original cast minus Willem Dafoe and will begin shooting Summer 2008. Of course, keep in mind this is Troy Duffy talking, so take everything with a grain of salt. The video is also noteworthy for being the first thing Duffy’s ever shot not in slow motion.

After 10 years since the original came out, the sequel to Boondock Saints seems to be finally moving forward. Yesterday, Troy Duffy posted a video on his YouTube account saying that Sony Pictures has finally greenlit The Boondock Saints: All Saints Day. Duffy says that filming should begin Summer 2008.
