charmaine1046 I just want to say that Spike Lee is like crab in a barrel. Every time a black man comes up he tries to bring him down. Just because he not the premier black film maker anymore is no reason to hate on Tyler Perry. Obviously he has forgotten about the earlier stuff he did. It wasn't all "Get on the Bus". Do the Right Thing, Clockers, School Daze, Girl 6 & Bamboozled were not the most uplifting movies for our people. I think Tyler is a genius. You act like these people don't exist in your family. All he's doing is writing what's real. Plus he does a lot in our community by keeping lesser known black actors working and donating money to great causes. Tyler alot of people love you for what you do. Don't let the devil steal your joy! Spike you need to stop being such a hypocrite and a hater of you own people.

tyoung923 I think in this day and age...our race would stop picking with each other when another one is making a come up...Spike what you have said about Tyler Perry is insulting and you don't speak for everyone..you both have your own styles..that's why we are individuals..but, I have noticed for quite sometime..Spike always does that to people that are making a name for themselves...the coonery and boofonery you are talking about is also helping people in New Orleans rebuild their lives..I know you provided a documentary about New Orleans but, did the proceeds go to help those in need?...Tyler Perry has donated millions of dollars and help to build homes...Look at what he is doing as a humanitarian, director, actor and employer ...he is giving people opportunities for a better life and that is only God given..Spike please quit the hateration and grow up..Learn to embrace different things
