Having seen all of Tyler Perry’s stage productions makes me a Tyler Perry fan, I guess you can say. So I was thrilled when I heard that he’d be making a movie out of “Meet the Browns,” which happens to be one of my favorite plays from Tyler! I swear I just love me some Tyler Perry. This man can do absolutely no wrong in my eyesight. Fresh off of the success of Why Did I Get Married, Tyler is back with what is sure to be another hit, “Meet The Browns”. The trailer for this movie is above and like most of TP’s movies it had me laughing and crying at the same time. I can’t wait to see this one. Check it out y’all. The trailer for Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns has been released and it…well…looks like a Tyler Perry movie. Angela Bassett plays a woman who’s facing some hard times when she gets a letter saying the father she never knew has died. So she goes to meet the rest of her extended family, who she also doesn’t know and who don’t know her. Cue alternating heartstrings and wackiness.
