King of Horror goes Under the Dome
KillerFilm —
Hitting bookstores everywhere on November 14 is Stephen King’s new novel Under The Dome. Trailers promoting books seem to be the in thing to do these days. Check out the preview below.
Synopsis: On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester’s Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. The latest mega-novel from Stephen King is out, complete with a bloody book trailer. Find out what happens when the government decides to permanently isolate a town and its inhabitants forever. The novel itself, which King apparently tried to unsuccessfully finish twice prior, follows a town which is suddenly and inexplicably trapped by an invisible force field by the government (didn't the Simpsons do this?). Also worth ...
UNDER THE DOME by Stephen King
The Moviezzz Blog —
Watching TV last night, I was surprised to see this An ad for Stephen King's newest, UNDER THE DOME. A trailer for a book? Do people still read? I got the book on Tuesday and am 100 pages in. Since it is 1100 pages long, I probably won't finish it for a while. Great read so far. I haven't read a lot of Stephen King, but took a chance on this one due to the Amazon price war that had it for $9. ...

The other day I saw a commercial for Stephen King’s new book “Under the Dome” and for the first 15 seconds I thought It was a trailer for an actual movie. I guess that’s both a credit to the marketing team and King’s ability to write books that translate well to visual mediums.
