FirstShowing.net — I don't exactly know what's going on in this, but I must thank Quiet Earth for finding this beautiful trailer and sending it my way. Tonight I'm featuring the trailer for Gary Shore's The Cup of Tears, a gorgeous CGI hybrid samurai sci-fi movie being made in ...

Check Out this Awesome Samurai Sci-Fi Trailer- THE CUP OF TEARS
GeekTyrant — The Cup of Tears looks like it’s gonna be a pretty damn fun film to watch. It’s a live-action CGI hybrid film that was directed by a young director named Gary Shore. The film was shot in Ireland using the RED camera. The trailer shows off it’s awesome visuals which has that Sin City, 300 look written all over it. And for a low budget film the movie looks just as good as those movies do, it might even be better in some ways, because it’s a bloody Samurai sci-fi film! Yeah, I said Sci-Fi Samurai. Awesome. The Cup of Tears Trailer Online
The Movie Blog — Sometimes when playing video games there are cutscenes that are just so amazing I wonder what a whole film created using the same stylings would look like. Well that film might just be The Cup of Tears, a CGI Live action Hybrid film directed by Gary Shore. Geek Tyrant describes it as: Follows a scorned geisha who creates a magical cup made of tears that causes any man who drinks from it to fall into a permanent sleep. One night the cup is stolen, setting off a chain of events that threatens civil war amongst the clans. Taro, a gifted samurai, sets out to find the cup and one who can break the spell. ...

Hyper Stylized Samurai-In-Space Film Is A Gorgeous Kick To The Throat [Cup Of Tears]
io9 — Cup of Tears' trailer is teaching Hollywood how to put together a sleek green-screen martial arts flick properly, even in outer space. This sick trailer should make everyone who worked on The Spirit blush. Quiet Earth has pointed out the super sleek The Cup of Tears from Gary Shore. which was all shot on Red camera. The official synopsis is this: The narrative follows a scorned geisha who creates a magical cup made of tears that causes any man who drinks from it to fall under a stasis of permanent sleep. Visually impressive trailer for THE CUP OF TEARS
gordonandthewhale.com — I, like seemingly everybody else, did not know about THE CUP OF TEARS, a surreal samurai film with rich visuals that is likely to remind everybody of SIN CITY, at least as far as looks go. Also, the music used in the trailer is reminiscent of SIN CITY as well, although I’m not sure if it is actually a part of the film’s score or not. THE CUP OF TEARS is the feature directorial debut of Gary Shore, who apparently is an effects whiz (after seeing the trailer, I can definitely believe that), and has also worked directing commercials. THE CUP OF TEARS trailer certainly ranks high on style points, but the big question is – ...

‘The Cup of Tears’ Trailer
Screen Rant — The Cup of Tears trailer has been gathering momentum with fans claiming its beautiful CGI puts that of many Hollywood studios to shame. It’s a unique hybrid, featuring ancient samurai empires battling in a post-apocalyptic future - something you might associate with Asia, but no. Believe it or not, filming was done in Slovenia and post production in Ireland. And while it looks sci-fi, the plot reads like a fairy tale: The Cup of Tears follows a scorned geisha who creates a magical cup made of tears that causes any man who drinks from it to fall into a permanent sleep. One ...

Trailer: The Cup Of Tears
FADED GLAMOUR — Now, I was going to make this post about the new 'Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time' film but while that looks better than expected, it didn't particularly engage me in any real manner. Instead, I'm going to post about a trailer that is both breathtaking and utterly confusing at the same time. ...
