WALL•E Loves L.A.
Published 5/14/2008 by bawpcwpn at Upcoming Pixar
A /Film reader was in the streets in L.A. when he saw a familiar face: WALL•E. Luckily he was able to record some footage. I just might add, that a few days ago I posted on the Pixar Planet Forums about how I think it would a very cool idea if Disney took these animatronic ...

My Dreams Have Been Realized -- A Real Wall-E!
Published 5/15/2008 by Elisabeth Rappe at Cinematical
Filed under: Animation, Disney, Fandom, Family Films, Movie Marketing, Trailers and Clips This is just too cool not to share with you all, and I hope you pardon my indulgence. I know I should look at this cynically as yet another piece of ridiculous movie marketing, but I don't want to. My grasp ...

LIVE-ACTION WALL E
Published 5/15/2008 at FilmDrunk.com
/Film found this video of an animatronic Wall E roaming the streets of LA.  The mobile animatronic version of Wall E was developed by Disney/Pixar for Disney amusement parks, presumably so that teenagers could beat something up that doesn't have a tiny, terrified out-of-work actor inside. Watching the video, I can safely say I haven’t been this sexually attracted to a robot since Small Wonder went off the air. Still, as far as robots go, I think I still have to give the edge to these guys:

Real Life Wall-E Spotted in L.A.
Published 5/15/2008 at Cinema Fusion
This was just too cute not to share.  Leave it to Pixar to make a metal robot appear adorable and highly marketable.  Now I want one for my own, even if it doesn’t do any housework.  Wall-E hits theatres on June 27th, and I’m really looking forward to another winner from the studio. I want one! I want one!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Usually this type of robot sophistication makes me tremble in fear of the inevitable robot wars... but not this... Wall-E Spotted in LA! from Blink on Vimeo . I love how Pixar is bringing the magic back to Disney. If I went to Disneyland and saw that as a kid I would have flipped my shit. Whose side will Wall-E fall on when the park goes Westworld on us? I think it'll be the Country Bears, Indiana Jones, Pirates and Presidents trying to kill us and Wall-E and the Star Tours robots will fight for the humans. I can't wait for this movie and I want my own Wall-E so bad it hurts! Thanks to ...

Wall-E Takes to the Streets [Cute Robots]
Published 5/17/2008 by Neil Miller at Film School Rejects
Nothing like a cute little robot to get your weekend started, right? For those of you who missed it earlier this week, footage has been released of a real-life, animatronic Wall-E that has been spotted on the streets of Los Angeles. Apparently the folks at Disney / Pixar have been working on a little real robot guy who could be roaming around Disney theme parks in the near future. That’s it… Disney Land here I come. And yes, I am going to steal one. [via Slashfilm] Related Reading: New Wall-E Widget ...

Wall-E Has Gotten Loose And Is Roaming L.A. Streets [Wall-E]
Disney's adorable robot was spotted wandering the streets of L.A., in a fully animatronic version that looks just like the animated incarnation. Watch the video as he rolls up on the tips of his tracks, peers into the videographer's lens, and waves. WALL-E even fields a few questions from passer-bys on the sidewalk . But don't give him any money because he'll probably just spend it on booze.  ...
WALL-E - A Hero’s Journey
Disney has released a new featurette for WALL-E titled “A Hero’s Journey. It’s basically a reworked version of the featurette we posted last month (but were quickly asked to remove). If you have no interest in seeing this movie after watching this little guy vrooom around, than you frankly have no heart. Enjoy. Wall-E hits theaters on June 27th 2008.
