The New York Times mentioned the effect of the election on the ratings for late night television recently. However, according to Broadcasting & Cable magazine, it looks like Comedy Central is having a very good month. South Park got its best ratings ever, and the Sarah Silverman program did exceptionally strong as well. Also: Meanwhile, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report continued their red hot streaks, each recording their best nights ever October 8.
