Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here. Look! Quick! My first reaction? Looks like a lot of fun. My second reaction? I’m honestly more thrilled by the sight of Mulder and Scully together again than I was by the sight of Indy back in action. Wouldn’t have guessed that before seeing these trailers. My third reaction? I love the audience at WonderCon screaming. Fox should leave this version online... that’s what really sells this trailer. Thanks to Paul for the heads-up on this one. Drew McWeeny, Los Angeles

I am looking forward to Comic Con this year, primarily because I am going to approach the whole thing a little differently and with a larger emphasis on having fun and less attention to covering everything under the sun. It appears that someone at WonderCon leaked footage from X-Files 2 on to YouTube. I know it sucks for con attendees, but the studios should just put all this footage officially online the Monday following the convention. The movie studios appear to be fine with thousands of people seeing this footage, so why not show a couple hundred thousand more? Footage will always get leaked, the studios and Comic Con will probably never be able to prevent that, especially with the rate the technology and cameras are shrinking. This one is pretty simple. This footage was shown yesterday at WonderCon in San Francisco. Someone with a solid camera phone recorded it and posted it to YouTube. Go figure. The quality of the video isn’t bad and the crowd reaction actually makes it that much better — this is really the reason why these conventions are so much fun. Mulder and Scully wonder if the person who leaked the trailer has some kind of agenda. Slashfilm revealed that someone at WonderCon taped the X-Files 2 trailer shown there and posted it on YouTube. The quality is pretty rocky, as it has that lovely tiny screen in the middle of a big dark theater look. X-Files 2 had a short teaser trailer released at WonderCon, and it has been illegally copied and released on the Internet. Heavens above! Thankfully though I've put aside my moralistic side and have the teaser right here for you. Someone who attended Wondercon made a bootleg trailer for the most anticipated film of 1999, X-Files 2 (opening in July). From what I can gather, it's about a bunch of nerds who totally lose their shit when they see snow.  Looks good.
